Organically grown figs are graded and spiked with a fork, then gently poached in a spiced syrup containing certified organic raw sugar, Rosnay port, organic apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, clove and lemon. The figs are then carefully packed into jars, usually about 5-6 figs per jar.
Serving Suggestion: Spoil yourself with a fig on ice cream or whipped cream, or tossed through a salad or fruit salad. Add to cereal or porridge or natural yoghurt with nuts. Add to cheese platter – especially with blue cheese. Slice and add to pizza with goats cheese and rocket.
