Tom and Rosemary Dunn

Feijoas are great for smoothies and to use in baking. Native to the highlands of southern Brazil, Colombia, Uruguay, and northern Argentina this fruit is being cultivated and harvested in Australia for a while now. Enjoy it while they are available as it has a very short season.

The fruit tastes like a combination of pineapple, guava and sherbet. You can stew, jam, ferment or make drunken Feijoa's(from our friends at Milkwood) Here is their blog on these amazing fruits - https://www.milkwood.net/2018/05/10/all-about-feijoas-growing-harvesting-recipes/
