Join the team: Administrative Support

As Emma gets ready to welcome the newest mini Food Connector, we're looking for an organised, friendly admin whiz to join the sales and customer service team as administrative support. This is a maternity leave cover position for a minimum of 6 months (through to January 2023) with the possibility of something longer term for the right person!

The role

Reporting to the sales coordinator and assisting both retail and wholesale customers, responsibilities include:

  • Providing excellent service and support to our customers.
  • Managing the info@foodconnect inbox, and being the primary person to answer the phones.
  • Acting as “City Cousin” for Food Connect on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, helping them locate their boxes to pick up (if needed) and processing additional sales.
  • Working with the sales team to acquire and retain customers.
  • Assisting with any aspects of the sales and marketing strategy as needed.

We'll be looking for experience in a similar administrative and/or reception role, with a background in food highly regarded. We'll teach you all the systems on the job, but experience with Shopify, Canva and MailChimp are all a big bonus!
